This fluffy gray kitten was born outside and spent his first weeks living around a residential area, mostly keeping to hidden spots and coming out when it felt safe. I came across him while helping feed local street cats, and because he was small and cautious, I started feeding him separately and slowly getting him used to people. Once he was eating reliably and I could get close without stressing him out, I brought him indoors to foster so he could be safe and start adjusting to home life. He has been seen by a veterinarian for a general check-up, treated for the usual kitten parasites (deworming), and checked for any obvious health issues; if you adopt him, I’ll share what’s been done and what the vet recommended next (vaccines/boosters and neutering when he’s old enough). He doesn’t need any special care right now—just normal kitten care, good food, a litter box, playtime, and a calm transition to a new home. Personality-wise he’s curious and observant: he watches first, then approaches once he decides things are safe, and he’s not “wild” all day—he plays in bursts and then settles, and he’s been getting more comfortable with handling and accepts pets when he’s relaxed. Because he started outdoors, he may hide a bit at first in a new place, so patience and a slow introduction (one room at the beginning) really help. With other animals, he should do well with a friendly cat if introductions are done slowly, and could be okay with a calm dog who respects boundaries; with children he’d be best with gentle kids who can give him space while he adjusts. Indoor-only adoption is preferred for his safety. Depending on location, I can help with transport to his new home or meet halfway—we can arrange what’s easiest and safest for him. Candidates can message me and I’ll answer any questions and share all the details I have about his routine and progress.
